If I’m not home to tuck your covers

I know YOU know, you have your Mother

  You have your, sister or your brother,

Or Grandma or Grandpa or lot’s of others 

They’ll  tickle your toes

And blow on your tummy

  And puff on your cheeks

And nibble ear gummies

 They’ll keep you safe

They’ll keep you warm

And love you and hug you

All wrapped in their arms

                                    They will always make sure

You have all that you need

And read you this book just as we agreed.

I wrote it for you, to have and to keep

To know I am with you

each night as you sleep

 I’m there in your dreams

I'm there in your heart

It’s just for a while that we’ll be apart

Where ever I am, where ever I go,

I love you and miss you.
